Packers will hold the No. 15 overall pick in first round of 2023 NFL draft

The Packers finished 8-9 and will hold the 15th overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft.

The 2022 season ended and the 2023 offseason began for the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on Sunday night. The Detroit Lions’ 20-16 win over the Packers in the season finale officially eliminated Matt LaFleur’s team from the playoffs and sent the Seattle Seahawks to the playoffs as the No. 7 seed.

While another offseason of Aaron Rodgers speculation is here, the Packers now know their position in the first round of the 2023 draft.

By finishing 8-9 overall, the Packers will hold the 15th overall pick in the first round of the 2023 draft. Both the Packers and New England Patriots finished 8-9, but the Packers had the better strength of schedule.
