For the second time this season, Quay Walker has been ejected for making contact with a member of the opposing team’s staff. On Sunday night, Walker shoved a Lions trainer in the back after he had come onto the field to tend to the injured D’Andre Swift.
Walker was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct, costing the Packers 15 yards, but officials decided to eject him shortly thereafter. The Lions quickly turned that mistake into a touchdown, taking a 20-13 lead over the Packers in the fourth quarter.
The first time Walker was ejected for making contact with an opposing employee was against the Bills earlier this year.
Here’s a clip of the incident with Walker and the trainer.
