What a difference a year makes. Just ask the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Last season they had to live through the nightmare of having Urban Meyer as their head coach. That bad time only lasted 13 games (the Jaguars were 2-11 at the time), however, because Meyer was so bad at his job that he couldn’t even make it through a full year in the NFL.
Seriously, he was arguably the worst coach in NFL history.
Now the Jaguars have a real head coach in Doug Pederson and after last night’s thrilling win at home over the Titans they are AFC South champions for the first time since 2017 and will be hosting a playoff game next week.
Amazing what a team can do once it rids itself of the stink of Urban Meyer.
Jaguars wide receiver Marvin Jones probably agrees with that because after the win over the Titans he said this:
Marvin Jones on the notion the #Jaguars were broken after last year with Urban Meyer.
"I think one person was broken. It wasn't us," he said.

NFL fans crushed Meyer after the Jaguars’ win.
