There’s still something to play for if you’re the Kansas City Chiefs. They want that number one seed and a bye in the first round of the playoffs. So, you can bet they will be giving it everything they have to beat the Raiders.
Helping them do that is the return of Mecole Hardman.
The Chiefs activated his this week, which means the speedster will play Saturday.
Hardman had been out since Week nine. They are hoping he can help them win this week so they don’t have to play next week while securing home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
They face a 6-10 Raiders team that was knocked out of playoff contention with a loss to the 49ers last week.
The Raiders put up a good fight with new quarterback Jarrett Stidham at the helm. Making his first start, the career backup threw for 365 yard and three touchdowns to help the Raiders put up 34 points on the league’s top defense. The 49ers still pulled out the 37-34 win in overtime.
It will likely take a similar effort from the Raiders offense to match what the Chiefs and their top rated offense are able to score. Especially with Hardman back in the lineup.
