Trojans Wire reaction to Cotton Bowl on national YouTube show was all about Alex Grinch

We joined @TJAltimore @TPrangleyJr and @LBCTrojan for one last #USC show at the @VoiceOfCFB this season. It was spirited. Get your Alex Grinch analysis here:

When USC lost to Utah in October, the roughing-the-passer calls against the Trojans dominated the postgame conversation. When USC lost to Utah in Las Vegas in the Pac-12 Championship Game, the Caleb Williams and Andrew Vorhees injuries were impossible to overlook.

When USC lost to Tulane in the Cotton Bowl despite never punting, despite going 13 for 15 on third downs (if you include fourth-down conversions as third-down conversions), despite gaining nearly 600 yards, and despite having only two truly bad plays all game long (one interception, one safety), the focus was not on the officiating or injuries. It was on one thing: Alex Grinch’s defense.

Alex Grinch is the topic of conversation this week at USC, and until a firm decision is made to either fire or retain him for 2023, we’re going to be talking about him. It’s just that simple.

We joined Tony Altimore, Tim Prangley, and Rick Anaya at The Voice of College Football to discuss Grinch and the rest of the Cotton Bowl aftermath on the USC postgame show, our last one of the season.

We wish to thank Tony, Tim, Rick, and site founder Mark Rogers for giving us a home at The Voice of College Football all season long:
