Alabama received some good news on Tuesday as kicker Will Reichard announced that he was returning for a fifth season in Tuscaloosa. He announced the news via his Twitter.
Reichard has been the Tide’s starting kicker for the past four seasons. Of the 75 field goals that he has attempted, he has made 62 of them. He is also almost flawless with extra points as he is 280-282.
With Alabama losing multiple key players on offense, he could prove to be more valuable than ever. He originally planned to play in the Reese’s Senior Bowl. However, after rethinking his decision, he will use the extra year of eligibility to return to Alabama.
