Purdue (-400) is elite and Edey is a contender for player of the year — this game should not be close. However, there is no value on the moneyline unless you’re adding it in a parlay.
Against the spread
BET PURDUE -8.5 (-110).
Purdue does not blow teams out generally as its identity is on defense, but Rutgers will be outmatched and 9 points isn’t a lot to ask for at home from the Boilermakers. Rutgers will only be able to do so much against Edey and company, so PURDUE -8.5 (-110) is my favorite play in this game.
Over/Under
BET UNDER 131.5 (-115).
Defense is key for both teams in this game. Purdue is 4-9 to the Over this season while the Scarlet Knights are 6-7. This will be another low-scoring game for these 2 teams and I do not see it hitting 130 points. Take the UNDER 131.5 (-115).
