Dre Greenlaw sustained a back injury in the third quarter against the Raiders when his fellow linebacker Fred Warner landed awkwardly on him while the pair made a third-down tackle.
Greenlaw jogged off the field and got some treatment on the sideline before the club ruled him questionable to return.
The 49ers moved Azeez Al-Shaair to the Will LB spot to fill in for Greenlaw. Oren Burks took over at the Sam LB for Al-Shaair.
