Experts once again massively like the Cincinnati Bengals, this time in their Week 16 matchup with the New England Patriots.

That Saturday contest features a team that has won six games in a row against a .500 squad looking to rebound and keep slim playoff hopes alive.

Over at, NFL Pick Watch, which polls experts who make picks, a resounding 90 percent like the Bengals when making the pick in a head-to-head format. That number only drops to 84 percent when experts need to pick against the spread.

Not only is the disparity between the two teams quite large, the Patriots will be down a starting cornerback, wide receiver and long-snapper, of all things.

That doesn’t mean this isn’t a trap game or that the Bengals don’t need the win — they do in order to secure a playoff berth (pending the Thursday night game). But it’s easy to see why experts have no qualms about siding with them on the road.
