The Philadelphia 76ers will get a bit healthier on Wednesday when they take on the Detroit Pistons to continue their seven-game homestand.
Furkan Korkmaz, who missed two games due to a non-COVID illness, will return to the court. The sixth-year veteran from Turkey is averaging 4.8 points and 1.4 rebounds while shooting 38.7% from the floor, and he’s shooting 33.3% from deep.
With his return, coach Doc Rivers has to adjust his rotation. He has a number of guys he can turn to for production off the bench.

The Sixers remain without Tyrese Maxey, who continues to recover from a left foot fracture. Despite Maxey’s absence, the Sixers have won five in a row and have moved up the standings.
The return of Korkmaz is not an earth-shattering development, but he does help this team so it will be interesting to see how Rivers uses him.
