4-star CB Daniel Harris recommits, signs with Georgia

Daniel Harris is a Dawg.

4-star cornerback Daniel Harris originally committed to Georgia back in July, choosing UGA over Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State.

In November, Harris de-committed from the Bulldogs and reopened his recruitment. Penn State would emerge as a contender for Harris, but on Wednesday, the Miami native decided to re-commit to Georgia and send in his National Letter of Intent.

He announced his commitment to Georgia on Wednesday morning, and also stated in a separate tweet that he will not be enrolling early.

Harris ranks as the nation’s No. 153 overall player and No. 17 ranked cornerback in the class of 2023. He played his high school football at Gulliver Prep in Miami.

As a defensive back, Harris does a good job of reading the quarterback. He pins receivers to the sideline and uses his length well in coverage. Harris is a willing run defender, but could improve upon his tackling form before playing at the highest level of college football.
