Cleveland Cavaliers rookie Isaiah Mobley dropped a career-high on assignment in the NBA G League and nearly had a triple-double to lead the Cleveland Charge to a win over the College Park Skyhawks.

The 49th pick did the majority of his work in the paint against the Skyhawks’ frontline. He faced little resistance down low and flashed his footwork and ability with the ball often. Mobley even showed his range by stepping out and knocking down a 3-pointer.

Mobley, who is signed to a two-way contract, is averaging 22.4 points, 9.1 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.3 blocks on 51.1% shooting from the field in nine games with the Charge. He is 14th in the G League in scoring and 20th in rebounding.

The organization wants Mobley to get as many minutes as possible to grow as a player with playing time at a premium in Cleveland. They believe he has a bright future ahead and he certainly showed what he is capable of on Monday.
