The 2023 season has been a tough one for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In Week 15 of the NFL season, the Bucs dropped to 6-8 on the year after coming up short at home against the Cincinnati Bengals. The latest setback saw a solid performance from wide receiver [autotag]Chris Godwin[/autotag], a former Penn State receiver, and the Bucs opened up a 17-0 lead on the defending AFC champions late in the first half, but the Bucs gave up 34 straight points and suffered a tough loss at home.
The Bucs still sit in first place in the NFC South despite being two games under .500 with three weeks remaining in the season. The division is still up for grabs as a result.
Godwin led all players in the game with 83 receiving yards (his teammate, Mike Evans, also had 83 yards). Godwin’s 83 receiving yards were the third-most in a game for the former Penn State standout this season. But as further proof that all Godwin does is make catches, he caught all eight passes intended for him from Tom Brady. Not too shabby!
