Former Alabama WR Aaron Anderson transferring to LSU

Aaron Anderson missed part of his freshman season with a knee injury. Following the season, he entered the transfer portal and is now headed to play for LSU.

It did not take long for former Alabama wide receiver Aaron Anderson to find a new place to call home. On Sunday, the Louisiana native announced that he was transferring back home to play for LSU.

Anderson was highly recruited out of high school by the Tigers. However, he ultimately chose to attend Alabama. In his lone season with the program, he recorded no stats. Anderson was plagued by a preseason injury that caused him to miss significant time. After being able to return, he played sparingly.

At this point, 13 scholarship players have entered the transfer portal. Nine of the 13 have already announced their transfer destination. Interestingly enough, all of them have transferred to Power-5 programs. Anderson joined that list on Sunday evening.

Roll Tide Wire will continue to follow Anderson’s college career as well as other Alabama football news.
