The Los Angeles Rams waived former Alabama linebacker Terrell Lewis on Thursday. Lewis spent three seasons with the organization.
Lewis was drafted in the third round of the 2020 NFL draft by the Rams. In three seasons with the team, Lewis tallied 40 tackles and six sacks. He played in 30 games primarily as a reserve outside linebacker.
His role had increased last season before the team traded for Pro Bowl edge rusher Von Miller. This season, he started in three games while recording 13 tackles and one sack.
Now, he will have the opportunity to be claimed off of waivers by any NFL team that desires to place a waiver claim for him. If he is not picked up, he will then become a free agent.
