Trevor Lawrence named AFC Player of the Week for a 2nd time

Trevor Lawrence joined Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, and Joe Burrow as a two-time AFC Offensive Player of the Week this season.

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence is the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season after a nearly flawless performance against the Tennessee Titans.

Lawrence, 23, threw for 368 yards and three touchdown passes in a 36-22 win in Nashville, and also freelanced on a play near the goal line and scored a one-yard rushing touchdown.

Lawrence joined Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, and Joe Burrow as the four players who are two-time winners of AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors this season. A three-touchdown performance in a blowout win over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3 was the other week Lawrence earned the distinction.

Prior to 2022, the last Jaguars player to earn Offensive Player of the Week honors was quarterback David Garrard in 2010.

In 13 games this season, Lawrence has 20 touchdown passes with six interceptions and a 95.4 passer rating.
