Nets’ Jacque Vaughn reacts to big win over the Washington Wizards

Here’s how head coach Jacque Vaughn reacted to the Nets’ methodical victory over the Washington Wizards on Monday.

The Brooklyn Nets got a decisive victory over the Washington Wizards on Monday and film study was a big part of it. But, not the kind of film study that one normally thinks about.

The Nets have ipads on the sideline during games so that they can review plays that just happened to show the player(s) what went right and what went wrong. It looks like those devices proved crucial in this game as the Nets puled away in the third quarter thanks to some important adjustments after halftime.

Nets head coach Jacque Vaughn gave his take on how big it is for players to be able to use Ipads during games to learn from their mistakes:

“Yeah, it’s interesting. Guys obviously just learn in different ways and sometimes, you (the player) see it and the way you see it, my college coach used to say ‘the ole eye in the sky don’t lie’ and when they see it on the Ipad, it’s the truth. We’ll actually huddle around, pull the clip, be able to visually see it, how we can get better from it and not have hurtful feelings”

The Nets next play at the Toronto Raptors on Friday.
