Former Tide LB believes Bryce Young should return for his senior season

Bryce Young has proven that he is ready to play at the next level. However, one former Alabama player doesn’t think so and believes Young should return for his senior season.

One former Alabama player expressed his belief that Alabama quarterback Bryce Young should return for his senior season. Former edge rusher Tim Williams made it clear Young should elect to play one more season in Tuscaloosa.

“He needs to show he can win a ring under heavy pressure like the quarterbacks before him,” Williams said.

Young has cemented himself as one of the best quarterbacks to ever play at Alabama much less in the history of college football. The California native passed for more than 8,000 yards with 75 touchdowns over the course of three seasons.

Many draft experts believe Young will land at either No. 1 or No. 2 in the 2023 NFL draft. While he hasn’t declared or opted out of the bowl game, the expectation is he will forgo his senior season to enter the draft.

Williams’ statement might make sense to a few, but there is no denying  Young is ready to play at the next level.

Roll Tide Wire will continue to follow news surrounding the Alabama football program.
