A few weeks after annihilating the Tennessee Titans, the Philadelphia Eagles will reportedly be meeting with one of the team’s best players in franchise history, punter Brett Kern.
According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Eagles are set to meet with Kern after losing their punter, Arryn Siposs, to a lower-leg injury.
Kern spent 13 seasons with the Titans, and in that time became one of the best punters in the NFL. He was voted to three-straight Pro Bowls from 2017-2019, and was a First-Team All-Pro in 2019.
Kern’s numbers started to hit a bit of a decline in 2020 and 2021, but the real reason he was let go was the emergence of punter Ryan Stonehouse, who beat Kern out and has been a rock star at the position this season.
One potential option: Sounds like three-time Pro Bowl punter Brett Kern will be visiting the #Eagles. https://t.co/pN52yW9hz9

Obviously, after what transpired in Week 13, it would be tough to see Kern go to the Eagles, but then again it would give him a chance to win his first Super Bowl.
