Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley discussed being under the weather in Week 13 against the Broncos

The Baltimore Ravens picked up a Week 13 win over the Denver Broncos by the final score of 10-9. It moved their record to 8-4 on the year, and kept them tied for first place in the AFC North with the Cincinnati Bengals, who they’ve already defeated once this year.

During the game against Denver, quarterback Lamar Jackson left the contest with a knee injury and didn’t return. That led the way for quarterback Tyler Huntley to lead them on a 16-play, 91-yard drive to close out the contest. However, Huntley also wasn’t at 100%, saying that during the game he was playing under the weather.

“Yes, yes, I think I had gotten a little case of the flu. I was driving over to the stadium, and I was just sweating and stuff. When ‘L’ [Lamar Jackson] was going in [the locker room], I hadn’t eaten anything all day, so I was feeling down. So, when I saw ‘L’ go down, I was like, ‘Dang, out of all days?’ (laughter) Yes, for sure, I was definitely a little under the weather, though.”
