Alabama OT Amari Kight enters NCAA transfer portal

Alabama offensive tackle Amari Kight has entered the transfer portal. The Alabama native spent four seasons in Tuscaloosa.

Alabama’s latest player to enter the transfer portal is fourth-year tackle, Amari Kight. The news was first reported by On3’s Matt Zenitz.

The redshirt junior is the fifth offensive lineman to announce that he is transferring from the program. The other four are Dameion George, Tanner Bowles, Javion Cohen, and Tommy Brockermeyer.

Kight played primarily as a reserve offensive tackle for the Tide. He played in 22 total games over the span of four years with the program.

The Tide will likely return right tackle JC Latham and are bringing in a loaded offensive line class. Those could have factored into Kight’s decision to explore his options.

Roll Tide Wire will continue to follow Alabama football in regards to the transfer portal.
