Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy (ankle) was listed as questionable on the team’s Friday injury report last week ahead of Sunday’s showdown with the Baltimore Ravens.
That injury did not stop Jeudy from suiting up, and he made an instant impact on offense, catching four passes for 65 yards.
After an eventual 10-9 loss, Broncos Nathaniel Hackett said Jeudy was playing despite not being fully recovered.
“Our plan with Jerry was just to work him back in,” Hackett said. “He still wasn’t 100% but he was willing to go for us. I thought he did some really, really good things for us. He battled through it.”
Though he wasn’t fully 100%, Jeudy said after the game that he felt fine.
“It felt great,” Jeudy said of getting back on the field after being sidelined for two games. “I was taking it day-by-day and seeing how I felt on game day. I did what I can.”
Through ten games (nine starts) this season, Jeudy has hauled in 34 receptions for 514 yards and three touchdowns. Denver will hope that he’s fully recovered and 100% ahead of a showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 14.
