Despite having a losing record at 5-6, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are still in the top spot in the NFC South heading into Monday night’s game against the New Orleans Saints.
The Bucs’ closest challenger entering Week 13 was the Atlanta Falcons, so they were pleased to see the Dirty Birds drop their home game against the Pittsburgh Steelers by a score of 19-13 on Sunday.
The Carolina Panthers are off this week, so as long as the Bucs can take care of business against the Saints on Monday night, they’ll be able to create even more separation at the top of the division standings.
That’s much easier said than done, considering how things have gone in recent years when the Saints come to Tampa, but the Bucs did score a 20-10 win in New Orleans back in Week 2.
