For only the second time this season, the Los Angeles Rams scored a touchdown on their opening drive of a game. They got the ball first against the Seattle Seahawks today, marched down the field and went up 7-0 less than six minutes into the game.
The 10-play, 77-yard drive was capped off by a touchdown run by Cam Akers, punching it in from 1 yard out. Six different players touched the ball on the drive, with nine of their 10 plays gaining at least 7 yards.
Here’s a look at Akers’ 1-yard touchdown run, his second score of the season.
