As LSU prepares for the SEC Championship against Georgia on Saturday, the team will be closely monitoring the injury situation regarding quarterback [autotag]Jayden Daniels[/autotag].
Daniels briefly exited the Texas A&M game on Saturday with what appeared to be an ankle injury, though he would later return and finish out the game. At his press conference on Monday, coach [autotag]Brian Kelly[/autotag] said that Daniels was in a walking boot but did not have a high ankle sprain.
The team is hopeful that Daniels will be able to practice on Tuesday as the team needs to be at full strength if it has any hope of upsetting the Bulldogs.
Jayden Daniels is wearing a boot today but his medical exam went well and #LSU feels optimistic about his ability to practice Tuesday, Brian Kelly said. He didn’t have a high ankle sprain.

Kelly also updated the status of running back [autotag]Josh Williams[/autotag], who suited up against Texas A&M but didn’t see any game action. Williams is expected to contribute against the Bulldogs on Saturday.
