Giannis Antetokounmpo played with a toy dinosaur during a timeout and it was so adorable

The toy belonged to Brook Lopez, obviously.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the most dominant basketball players of his generation, but he still possesses a child-like wonder at times.

Antetokounmpo, a two-time MVP and NBA Finals MVP, has shown heart-warming enthusiasm for life’s simple pleasures like drinking smoothies and dunking Oreo cookies into milk.

Although he recently got heated after a loss against the 76ers, it seems pretty clear that Antetokounmpo is an incredibly wholesome dude off the court. He showed as much again during Milwaukee’s victory against the Mavericks on Sunday night.

The former Defensive Player of the Year was simply minding his own business and playing with a toy dinosaur when he was suddenly caught in 4K by the camera crew:

Some deeper reporting from The Athletic’s Eric Nehm indicates that this toy belongs to Milwaukee center Brook Lopez, which is the least surprising news of all time.

Based on some quick Twitter research, here is a closer look at the toy:

While I’m not entirely sure why the toy dinosaur was sitting on the scorer’s table, I’m really glad that it was there because this was incredibly sweet.

With moments like these becoming more and more frequent, Antetokounmpo (who clearly likes dinosaurs more than fellow MVP candidate Devin Booker) continues to endear himself to fans around the world.
