The buzz has begun to pick up a little bit more in Boulder regarding the next head coach for the Colorado Buffaloes.
In the past few days, Deion Sanders has surfaced multiple times in link to the job, and Rick George and his group should have some idea of which direction they will go in.
The Buffs finish the regular season this weekend with a game against Utah, and it shouldn’t be long after that when a new coach is named.
Eric Christensen of CBS4 says it could be Dec 3 or 4, which is after the SWAC Celebration Bowl (the conference that Sanders coaches in).
Had a person who I would trust to be in the know, tell me @cubuffs would announce new head coach Dec 3rd or 4th. That would be after conf. champ games & after the SWAC Celebration Bowl. Just sayin' #cubuffs

The Buffs dismissed Karl Dorrell, and although Mike Sanford hasn’t done a terrible job, it seems like they want to go in an entirely new direction.
If Sanders is the guy, the recruiting should see a significant boost. On the other hand, there haven’t been too many indications on who the Buffs will consider, although the latest hot boards have the majority of the same candidates as before.
If the timeline is correct, we only have a couple of weeks until the Buffs introduce somebody as their new head coach.
