Nets star Ben Simmons says he ‘knows what’s coming’ for visit to Philly

Brooklyn Nets guard Ben Simmons explains how his visit to the Philadelphia 76ers will go.

Brooklyn Nets guard Ben Simmons had his best game of the season in a 127-115 win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday. That didn’t stop the media from asking him about his team’s visit to Philadelphia on Tuesday.

Ironically, Simmons’ 22-point game on Sunday was his first game with 20 points since he had 22 points for the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 2 of their 2021 Eastern Conference first-round matchup against the Washington Wizards. As long as Simmons is able to play, it will be the first time that he has played against the Sixers since he was traded to Brooklyn in February.

Simmons has been showing confidence on and off the floor lately and nothing underscores that confidence more than his response to a question about him visiting the Wells Fargo Center on Tuesday:

Simmons and the Sixers obviously have their history together, but Joel Embiid wants to downplay all of that as the two teams get set to clash on Tuesday.
