Colt McCoy expected to start at QB for Cardinals vs. 49ers

Kyler Murray is expected to miss the Monday night game against San Francisco.

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray is officially questionable for the team’s Week 11 game Monday night against the San Francisco 49ers with a hamstring injury. Signs point toward him missing a second straight game.

According to FOX Sports’ Peter Schrager, backup Colt McCoy is expected to get the start.

McCoy “is expected to be the guy right now as we speak on this Sunday morning,” Schrager said. “Kyler still has the hamstring injury. He’s questionable to play, but it sounds like right now the Cardinals in that building are leaning toward Colt to go Monday night in Mexico City against the 49ers.”

McCoy led the Cardinals to a 27-17 win over the Los Angeles Rams last week and is 3-1 as a starter the last two seasons, playing in place of Murray when he has been injured, including a 31-17 road win over the 49ers last season.
