ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Could Michigan football get back a few familiar faces in its penultimate regular season game? Or would those who are banged up be held out awaiting the big showdown with Ohio State?
The maize and blue have seen multiple players go down in recent weeks, from Trevor Keegan, to Donovan Edwards, to Luke Schoonmaker, to Mike Morris. There are a handful of players out for the season, of course, but with Illinois and the Wolverines currently on the field warming up, here are the players who are dressed and not dressed. Of course, being dressed isn’t a perfect indication that they’ll play, but it assuredly gives some hope that those who were previously injured might get in on the action against the Illini.
Dressed
- RT Trente Jones
- TE Luke Schoonmaker
- CB Gemon Green
- LB Kalel Mullings
- DE Mike Morris
Not dressed
- LB Nikhai Hill-Green
- WR A.J. Henning
- RB Donovan Edwards
- LG Trevor Keegan
- TE Erick All (out for season)
- QB Cade McNamara (out for season)
- DT Dominick Giudice
- S Caden Kolesar (out for season)
- LS William Wagner (out for season)
Again, whether or not those who are dressed play is a game-time decision. But the fact that they’re in uniform is certainly encouraging.
update: added Mike Morris to the dress list.
