The UNC football team hits the field on Saturday, hosting Georgia Tech in what is the first of two home games to close out the 2022 season.
For the Tar Heels, they have some things to play for still as they are ranked No. 13 in the updated College Football Playoff rankings. With a slim chance of causing havoc to get in, the Tar Heels need to win out and do it in style, starting Saturday.
This is a game they can’t overlook, especially with NC State looming next week for the regular season finale and then Clemson in the ACC title game a few weeks after.
While Georgia Tech has struggled, they could surprise the Tar Heels on Saturday and pull off a major upset. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen and UNC takes care of business.
