As the 49ers try to prep themselves for yet another potentially deep playoff run, they should be thankful that human-wrecking ball Nick Bosa is on their side. The fourth-year pass rusher and former Defensive Rookie Year of the Year is enjoying one of the finer seasons of his young career.
As a result, Bosa is undoubtedly one of the top candidates for this year’s Defensive Player of the Year Award.
And during a Sunday night performance against Justin Herbert and Chargers, where Bosa went on to amass a mind-boggling four quarterback hits, three tackles-for-loss, and a sack — the 49ers superstar happened to be mic’d up during the action.
For someone who embarrasses offensive tackles on a weekly basis, Bosa seemed surprisingly casual about all the time he spent haunting Herbert and Co.
Nick Bosa's deadpan humor: criminally underrated 😂@nbsmallerbear | @49ers pic.twitter.com/ciNhzFn6gg

Hilarious! That said, you’d think one of the NFL’s more intimidating and powerful players would be a bit more, I don’t know … animated?
But I guess when it comes to destroying offensive game plans and hitting star quarterbacks really hard, Bosa’s casual deadpan delivery while he creates chaos probably makes him scarier.
