With each passing week, it seems like defensive lineman Denico Autry only strengthens his argument as the greatest free-agent signing in Tennessee Titans history.
In my personal opinion, he still has a ways to go to top Delanie Walker, but at minimum, he’s undoubtedly the best free-agent signing of the Jon Robinson era.
Autry is legitimately playing at an All-Pro caliber level at the moment. The Mississippi State product currently has accounted for the fourth-most pressures (45) and 10th-most sacks (seven) in the entire NFL.
Obviously, every single Titans fan can see the impact Autry has on games each week. However, for whatever reason, the fanbase hadn’t necessarily gotten a lot of exposure to Autry outside of what he does on the field.
So far, the top two pressure generators from this week were both @Titans
Denico Autry – 11
Rashad Weaver – 10 (tied with Dexter Lawrence)Autry is fourth in the entire league in pressures this year (45). All-Pro caliber production at 32 years old!

That finally changed when the Titans had the veteran defender mic’d up last Sunday against the Broncos, and the former undrafted free agent out of Mississippi State is a lot more vocal than he’s perceived to be.
In the video, Autry routinely shows support for his teammates regardless of which unit they play on.
At one point, he even challenges someone on special teams to set the tone for the defense and hilariously says he puts his money on linebacker Dylan Cole, presumably because of his big hit earlier in the game.
It was awesome to finally peel the curtain back a little bit on one of the most underrated players in the NFL who truly doesn’t get nearly as much publicity as he should. The video in its entirety can be found in the tweet below.
