Justin Fields is arguably the most dangerous running quarterback in the NFL right now. Heck, he’s one of the best rushers in the league.

Through 10 weeks, Fields has 749 rushing yards. Not only does that lead the Bears (Khalil Herbert has 643, David Montgomery has 434), but it’s sixth in the NFL.

In Sunday’s loss to the Lions, Fields rushed for 147 yards on 13 carries and two touchdowns. It was his second straight game of 145-plus rushing yards. He rushed for an NFL-record 178 yards in Week 9 against the Dolphins.

Fields is on pace to eclipse 1,000 rushing yards on the season, where he would join the esteemed company of Michael Vick and Lamar Jackson as the only quarterbacks to accomplish it.

“He’s got tremendous speed and he’s very strong,” said Bears coach Matt Eberflus, via ChicagoBears.com. “He steps on guys pretty fast. He doesn’t do a lot of wiggling once he gets into that defensive backfield. He puts on the gas and does a good job. He understands angles and speed.”

Fields ranks behind New York’s Saquon Barkley (931), Tennessee’s Derrick Henry (923), Cleveland’s Nick Chubb (904), Las Vegas’ Josh Jacobs (821) and Houston’s Dameon Pierce (772).
