UNC remains on top of AP Top 25 poll after first week

The UNC basketball program is still atop the Associated Press Top 25 poll after one week and a 2-0 start.

The UNC basketball program completed a 2-0 week to open up the 2022 season last week, beating UNC-Wilmington and College of Charleston.

While UNC did get off to slow starts in both games, they turned it on in the second half to avoid big upsets. With the 2-0 start, the Tar Heels kept its No. 1 ranking in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll.
