All season long, many NFL teams have taken advantage of their designated Thursday night football game to unveil new alternate helmets. For example, the Texans wore a metal cap of a scorching red variety; Bears had helmets with a very bright orange tinge, and the Bengals had a special white-striped tiger version.
But, for as creative (or bland) as some squads have been to the approximate midseason mark, everyone’s best aesthetic effort might be trumped by the Panthers and their fabulous new black helmets. Couple the helmets alongside a black uniform, and Carolina certainly brought its best-dressed efforts to a primetime matchup with the Falcons — as a new hype video showed:

Oh, man. That’s the kind of helmet/uniform reveal that you know looks excellent from the surface and will probably look even better in action.
As for whether Carolina has a chance against the Falcons in these black helmets/uniforms — absolutely! The NFC South is a dumpster fire, with the 4-5 Buccaneers and Tom Brady in first place. Atlanta is no juggernaut. Watch for the Panthers to play “well” while also looking good.
