WWE Raw is turning 30 early next year, and is returning kind of close to where it first started to celebrate.
WWE today released a list of 30 live events that make up its winter touring schedule, from house shows over the first three months of 2023 right up to the Raw after WrestleMania that takes place on April 3 in Los Angeles. Included among those shows is the Raw 30th Anniversary episode that will take place Monday, Jan. 23 from Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
It’s not exactly the date or location of the first Raw, but it’s in the ballpark. The debut of Raw aired on Jan. 11, 1993, and originated from Grand Ballroom at the Manhattan Center in New York City. Raw also wasn’t live every week to start, though it has been for more than 20 years with some occasional exceptions that mostly have come due to when Christmas and New Year’s fall.
The Raw 30th Anniversary also has an … interesting logo (which you can see above) that hearkens back to the classic Raw is War logo from the late 1990s, but also feels like it could be promoting some adult content.
In any case, you can see the entire WWE winter live events schedule below:
