Patrick Mahomes had another huge night Sunday against the Titans but he might want to rethink how he celebrated one big play because history has shown us it’t not a great way to do things.
The Chiefs QB tied up the game late in the fourth quarter by running into the end zone for a 2-point conversion. He was so pumped up by the play that he appeared to headbutt the wall in pure jubilation. Former Washington QB Gus Frerotte did that years ago after a scoring a TD and had to leave the game with a sprained neck.
Mahomes, thankfully, was fine after the headbutt and went on to lead the Chiefs to a win in OT.
But yeah, don’t do this:
