The Saints have been a mess this season. After a slow start under QB Jameis Winston, they were forced to move to QB Andy Dalton due to an injury to Winston. Despite a 30-26 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 6 and a 42-34 defeat at the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7, New Orleans stuck with Dalton, who beat the visiting Las Vegas Raiders 24-0 in Week 8. With WRs Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry missing on offense and CB Marshon Lattimore on defense, any win over the last month has been a blessing.
The Ravens, despite their record, could be much better.
Baltimore has had a double-digit lead in every game it has played to this point in the 2022 season. It has given up 3 of those in a losing fashion. While the defense is struggling to hold a lead, QB Lamar Jackson is doing his best to keep the offense going despite a litany of injuries.
RB J.K. Dobbins came back from an ACL injury only to be forced back to the IR list after reaggravating it. Star TE Mark Andrews, a favorite target of Jackson, has also been limited due to a shoulder injury. Most recently, WR Rashod Bateman will miss the rest of the season after mid-week foot surgery. Add these to the trade of WR Marquise Brown to Arizona on draft night and the Ravens offense is going by the skin of their teeth.

The Ravens are coming in on a 2-game win streak while the Saints have lost 2 of their last 3. The Saints and Dalton are starting to find themselves as evidenced in a 24-0 shutout of the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 8.
The focus of the offense for the Ravens is Andrews, and he’s doubtful to play. The Saints love playing at home in the dome and they make better teams uncomfortable there. Take SAINTS (+110) as my FAVORITE PLAY.
Against the spread
PASS.
I like underdog New Orleans to win but I’ll take the better odds on the moneyline. The value is better, and I feel confident it is just as good a wager.
Over/Under
BET OVER 47 (-110).
The Saints should be able to control the pace of this game at home, and they’re 5-3 to the Over this season.
The Ravens can score, and their defense has also been known to give up points in spurts. Even if Baltimore goes out in front, New Orleans will be able to come back and get this game over. While the moneyline is my favorite play, I would not mind putting something on OVER 47 (-110).
