Just one day stands in between the Florida Gators and Texas A&M Aggies‘ matchup at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas. The week leading up to college football’s Week 10 action has been rather eventful, particularly for UF, as the season approaches the final third of the 2022 schedule.
Both teams have fallen short this season, bringing equally appalling 1-4 records in SEC play. The Gators are slightly better than the Aggies overall, carrying an even 4-4 mark to the game against TAMU’s 3-5 record. The losing has been a bit harsher for the home team, however, which came into 2022 with lofty expectations and plenty of money spent.
Texas A&M holds a slight edge in the short series history with a 3-2 record, having won the last two straight and going 2-1 since entering the SEC. Prior to that, the two schools split their meetings with the Gators earning a home win in 1962 while the Aggies evened things up with a Sun Bowl win in El Paso, Texas, in 1976.
