The Baltimore Ravens traded for inside linebacker Roquan Smith on Monday, adding another talented player to an already talented defense. He’ll now play alongside inside linebacker Patrick Queen and others, with the duo being able to feed off of each other in a big way.
Queen spoke with the media on Wednesday, and was asked about his feelings when he heard the news that Smith would be coming to Baltimore. He said he was “shocked and ecstatic”, mentioning that someone great will be playing alongside him while also learning from him in the process.
Patrick Queen was “shocked and ecstatic” when the Ravens landed Roquan Smith:
“Most people thought I was taking it the wrong way. … We got somebody that great playing alongside of you, and you get to learn from him, see the things that he does … I was ecstatic about it.” pic.twitter.com/ZO08yPZnsa
