Multiple Sixers attend Phillies’ Game 3 World Series win over Astros

The Philadelphia 76ers attended the Game 3 win for the Philadelphia Phillies over the Houston Astros in the World Series.

The Philadelphia Phillies have been on an incredible run through Major League Baseball’s postseason. Despite being the lowest seed in the National League, the Phillies mowed through the playoffs and had another big night against the Houston Astros on Tuesday.

The Phillies hit five home runs on their way to an easy 7-0 win over the Astros to take a 2-1 lead in the World Series. After a big offensive night led by Bryce Harper, Alec Bohm, Brandon Marsh, Kyle Schwarber and Rhys Hoskins, the Phils are just two wins away from their first title since 2008.

The Philadelphia 76ers have supported their professional sports neighbors during their run, and Game 3 was no different. Sixers stars Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris joined in on the fun at Citizens Bank Park.

Maxey, Harris and the Sixers look to follow the example of the Phillies and extend their winning streak when they return home on Wednesday.
