The Las Vegas Raiders were blanked by the New Orleans Saints on Sunday in NFL action.

Linebacker Blake Martinez made a score, although it came off the field, in the collectible market. The rare card — a Pokémon Illustrator is one of the rarest cards in Pokémon history, as only 4 were made.

Martinez sold the card through Goldin Auctions. The bidding went from $410,000 on Saturday to the final price of $560,000.

With the buyer’s premium, it goes for $672,000.

He brought the card to the pawn shop run by the folks who are on the popular “Pawn Stars” TV show last week to showcase it.

Per TMZ:

Blake brought his very rare card — aPokémon Illustrator — and the guys got a close look. It is said to be one of the rarest cards in Pokémon history, as only 4 were ever made.

That makes it a bona fide commodity … one experts believe could rake in more than $1 mil. There is one in better condition, which sold for $4 million!!!

The Las Vegas Review-Journal was on hand at Gold & Silver Pawn,

Martinez was asked, what is this thing worth, really?

“Maybe $500,000 to, who knows? Eight-hundred, 1.5 mil.,” Martinez said as he was about to meet fans at Gold & Silver Pawn, the home base of the History series “Pawn Stars.” “It’s crazy. It’s insane to me, one-hundred percent.”

Martinez, who bought it from a collector in Japan, has been fascinated by this since he was 6.

“I got away from it, but then got back into it about three years ago,” Martinez said. “They were booming and I went, ‘I want to see what my cards are worth.’ But my threw them all our or gave them away.”

He had shown the card off before.
