The New England Patriots offense struggled on Sunday afternoon against the New York Jets. However, a defensive interception allowed the Patriots to score points.
Ja’Whaun Bentley intercepted the second pass of his career and was able to put the Patriots in the red zone. Unfortunately for New England, it only amounted to a field goal. Nevertheless, it inched the Patriots closer and narrowed the deficit to 6-10 heading into halftime.
The interception could loom large, as New England remains locked in a tough defensive battle with the Jets. Bentley and the Patriots defense have tried to do their part against an explosive Jets offense.
