The Cleveland Browns got the same news we all got yesterday: the Cincinnati Bengals would be without their star receiver Ja’Marr Chase as he is set to miss extended time with a hip injury. Cornerback Greg Newsome has not taken the news too lightly either, stating he was “pissed” when he heard the news and was “looking forward to the matchup.”
This stems back to the summer when Chase went on a show and said he did not think Newsome was elite, and that it was “on sight” the next time the Browns and Bengals played. Newsome has taken the comments in stride but is disappointed not to get the opportunity to prove it to Chase nonetheless.
