It might be an understatement to say Tom Brady’s 2022 season has been a disappointment so far for the iconic quarterback.
After being bullied by the Ravens in a 27-22 win on Thursday night, Tampa Bay has now lost three straight games — Brady’s longest losing streak since the 2002 season with the Patriots. And as the Buccaneers’ offense continues to struggle with Brady at the helm, it doesn’t seem like there’s much hope for this 3-5 team to pull itself out of a deep hole.
Oh, and lest we forget: A 3-5 record near the midseason point is the worst start ever for a Brady-led team in his almost 23-year career.
It’s getting quite grim in Tampa Bay.

This 3-5 start is also the first time a Brady team has ever been under .500 through eight games in a campaign.

We don’t know how likely it is that Brady and the Buccaneers will turn things around in the second half of the season. But at this pace, it’s hard to see much changing. After already becoming the most-sacked QB of all time, this worst-start mark for Brady is pretty representative of a huge mess in Tampa Bay.
