Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson (hamstring) was limited again on Thursday as the team prepares for Sunday’s showdown with the Jacksonville Jaguars in London.
Broncos coach Nathaniel Hackett said on Wednesday that Wilson is “trending in the right way” with his recovery. The QB then had a good session on Thursday, which is a positive sign.
“He had a good day of practice today,” Hackett said of Wilson after Thursday’s practice. “[He] looks good, but we’re just going to keep on monitoring it day-to-day to make sure he’s okay.”
If Wilson is not cleared for Sunday’s game, the team will likely start Brett Rypien against Jacksonville. Josh Johnson is also available on the practice squad.
