Stanford kicking five field goals to sneak past Arizona State cost several College Wire staff members a perfect record for Week 8. But Don Smalley (me) got lucky and was able to weasel into second place thanks to the Cardinal kicker Joshua Karty.
Unless there are some upsets in Week 9, it’ll be difficult to move up the standings as the staff is in agreement for most of the games. There was a variety of picks for the ASU-Colorado game and Stanford was able to gain a believer in DucksWire’s own Andy Patton.
