The Denver Broncos have received “multiple trade inquiries” about outside linebacker Bradley Chubb and wide receivers Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

When a national media member reports that a team is “receiving calls” about a player, it is sometimes code for a team shopping a player and wanting everyone to know that there’s interest in the player.

That might be the case with the three Denver players as KUSA-TV’s Mike Klis tweeted Sunday morning that the Broncos have all three players on the trade block.

Chubb has totaled 5.5 sacks through Denver’s first six games but he’s scheduled to become a free agent in 2023 and the Broncos are hoping to acquire more draft picks for next spring.

Following the arrival of Randy Gregory and the emergence of Baron Browning, Denver might view Chubb as an expendable player.

Jeudy and Hamler were former general manager John Elway’s first two picks in the 2020 NFL draft. Jeudy has shown flashes of great potential, but his performances have been inconsistent. Hamler has great speed, but he’s battled numerous injuries and the Broncos just drafted a player with a similar skillset in Montrell Washington earlier this year.

The NFL’s trade deadline is Nov. 1.
