When the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Miami Dolphins on Sunday night, they will be much closer to healthy than they were the week before. The Steelers released its game-status report for Sunday and it only had three names on it.
OUT: Steve Sims (hamstring)
DOUBTFUL: Akhello Witherspoon (hamstring)
QUESTIONABLE: James Pierre (hip/knee)
The absence of Sims means wide receiver Gunner Olszewski will be active once again and return to his role as the team’s primary return man. If Witherspoon cannot go again, it will be Levi Wallace and Cameron Sutton trying to slow down those speedy Miami wide receivers with Arthur Maulet in the slow.
The absence of quarterback Kenny Pickett on the report means he will get the start just a week after being knocked out of the game with a concussion.
